Generous Hands

Mission Statement: Our mission is to benefit hungry children by strengthening their physical, emotional, nutritional, and educational wellbeing.

How the Power Pack Program Works: Children are confidentially recommended for a Power Pack by the staff at their school. Parents must sign a permission slip for participation in the program. Parents may also contact Generous Hands to sign up their children for the program.

Power Packs are available at the warehouse each week during posted day and evening distribution hours. Parents may contact GH to arrange for alternate pickup arrangements.

What is a Power Pack: Power Packs are filled with a variety of kid friendly nutritious foods and given to children at risk of food insecurity or hunger during the weekends.

Roof Sit by Community Healing Centers

Roof Sit is a 3-day event that raises awareness and funding to treat and prevent child abuse and neglect in Southwest Michigan.

Gasaway Investment Advisors has participated in volunteering for this important cause for the last four? years raising donations in a bucket brigade that go to support specialized care for children who are victims of child abuse and neglect.

Family and Children Services Holiday Giving Program

This holiday season, Gasaway Investment Advisors is focusing our philanthropic endeavors on the Family and Children Services Holiday Giving Program. This is an opportunity to donate much needed goods to people in need. We chose to focus on those often overlooked, teens in the foster care system.

If you are interested in supporting this amazing cause, Gasaway will be acting as a drop point for donations. We will then deliver the goods to Family and Children Services.

For ideas on what is needed/wanted, please see this noncomprehensive list:

• Clothing in teen sizes (hoodies, shirts, pants, socks)
• Hats and gloves for winter
• Toiletries (soap, razors, shaving cream, feminine hygiene products, toothbrushes and toothpaste)
• Hair care (combs, brushes, styling cream, shampoo, conditioner)
• Purses, backpacks, fanny packs, cross body bags, small-wheeled luggage
• Ear buds/headphones
• Lotion or makeup sets
• Water bottles
• Journals, planners, notebooks
• Fluffy blankets

• Power banks for electronics
